Splitcoast Stampers challenge 4 Sugar Nellie

Hi All,

Hope you have had a good weekend. I have, we went out for dinner last night with some friends and had a great time. Today I watched the Marathon and had some crafting time.

The the challenge this week on Splitcoast Stampers was to make a CAS card. I found this hard as I like to add flowers, charms etc. and I still don't know if I have pulled it off.

I have used a Gorguss Girl and coloured her with Copics. I then used my Nesties to cut her out and emboss. The red cardstock was then embossed through my cuttlebug using the swiss dot folder. The ribbon was from my stash.

Splitcoast Stampers Sugar Nellie challenge 3

Sugar Nellie have a challenge running on Splitcoast Stampers to make a Diagonal Double Pocket Card. This is the first time that I have made one of these cards, and it was much easier than it looks. I will be making more of these in the future.
I decided to use one of the Gorjuss Girls as tag. I used my new punches to make a flower out of the same paper as the card. The two designs don't show too well in the picture, but I assure you it was two sided paper.

Inspired by Craft Stamper Magazine

It was my mum's birthday last week and while flicking through a recent issue of Craft Stamper magazine I saw this project which I thought would be ideal for a present for her.

At first I decided to use stamps that I already owned, but then changed my mind and brought the ones that they used in the mazagine. The stamp set is from Inkadinkado - Beauty Steams from Here, I think that these are now some of my favourite stamps.

The project is a book made with envelopes and bound with a Bind-It-All.

I used matted some green card on to thick card sized 7" x 5" for the covers - I used the back of a writing pad. I then stamped the small flourish onto the card stock on three of the sides using a Lettuce Adirondack ink pad.

I then cut a piece of white card and with cut & dry foam blended butterscotch and cranberry Adirondack ink pads. Then using the cranberry ink stamped the small flourish over the top.

I then stamped the large flower on white card stock three times and coloured with Copics. Mounted these on to brown card stock and then on too the first three sides of the covers. The two inside covers have ribbon stuck behind to enable the book to be closed.

I then stamped the large flower onto six envelopes in cranberry. I then bound the book with my Bind-It-All.
The envelopes were filled with craft goodies.

I have then made a card to go with book.

I really enjoyed making this project and hope to make lots more.
