Sugar Nellie Splitcoast stampers challenge 5

The challenge over at Splitcoast stampers challenge 5 was monochrome. I must admit I didn't have a clue where to start with this, but after some inspiration from the other people entries, I came up with this.
The image is Coffee Time which I received this week along with my new manga's. I coloured with copics. I'm not sure that I like this card, I like the image and background paper, but not sure the flower or layout works.

Splitcoast Stampers challenge 4 Sugar Nellie

Hi All,

Hope you have had a good weekend. I have, we went out for dinner last night with some friends and had a great time. Today I watched the Marathon and had some crafting time.

The the challenge this week on Splitcoast Stampers was to make a CAS card. I found this hard as I like to add flowers, charms etc. and I still don't know if I have pulled it off.

I have used a Gorguss Girl and coloured her with Copics. I then used my Nesties to cut her out and emboss. The red cardstock was then embossed through my cuttlebug using the swiss dot folder. The ribbon was from my stash.

Splitcoast Stampers Sugar Nellie challenge 3

Sugar Nellie have a challenge running on Splitcoast Stampers to make a Diagonal Double Pocket Card. This is the first time that I have made one of these cards, and it was much easier than it looks. I will be making more of these in the future.
I decided to use one of the Gorjuss Girls as tag. I used my new punches to make a flower out of the same paper as the card. The two designs don't show too well in the picture, but I assure you it was two sided paper.

Inspired by Craft Stamper Magazine

It was my mum's birthday last week and while flicking through a recent issue of Craft Stamper magazine I saw this project which I thought would be ideal for a present for her.

At first I decided to use stamps that I already owned, but then changed my mind and brought the ones that they used in the mazagine. The stamp set is from Inkadinkado - Beauty Steams from Here, I think that these are now some of my favourite stamps.

The project is a book made with envelopes and bound with a Bind-It-All.

I used matted some green card on to thick card sized 7" x 5" for the covers - I used the back of a writing pad. I then stamped the small flourish onto the card stock on three of the sides using a Lettuce Adirondack ink pad.

I then cut a piece of white card and with cut & dry foam blended butterscotch and cranberry Adirondack ink pads. Then using the cranberry ink stamped the small flourish over the top.

I then stamped the large flower on white card stock three times and coloured with Copics. Mounted these on to brown card stock and then on too the first three sides of the covers. The two inside covers have ribbon stuck behind to enable the book to be closed.

I then stamped the large flower onto six envelopes in cranberry. I then bound the book with my Bind-It-All.
The envelopes were filled with craft goodies.

I have then made a card to go with book.

I really enjoyed making this project and hope to make lots more.

A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge 98

This is my first challenge. I have enjoyed making this bookmark and will be making more (my other passion is reading). The stamped image is Sugar Nellie, but I'm not sure who the paper are. Ribbon is from stash - I'm not sure if it needs something else but it does have to fit inside my book :)

Whiff of Joy - Party

I was very excited to receive my Whiff of Joy stamps, but with studying this is the first time that I have had the chance to use them.

I coloured the image with copics and matted on to pink card stock. I'm not sure who the black paper is from - but think it is Bo Bunny. Letters & numbers cut out with cuttlebug. Flowers and crystals from stash.

Boxes

I had some girlfriends round for dinner and thought I would make something for them to go on the table. I had seen some instructions on how to make these boxes in Craft Stamper magazine and decided to give them ago. I was very surprised at how easy they were to make, just lots of folding!

All items were from my stash, so also quite cheap to make. Image is from personnel impressions - I think, I added some colour with my Copics. Flowers are Prima. I filled the boxes with Lindor chocolates - I had to make one for myself and eat up the left over chocolates :)

I will be making more of these boxes, maybe for putting gifts in.

I have just brought a bind-it-all and am looking forward to having a play.

Miss Anya

Hi All,

Hope everybody is well today. This post should have been put up last night, but I was half way through setting it up when my nan and grandad Skyped me - After over an hour online with them sorting out why they couldn't find their emails, it was time for bed and I didn't have the energy to finish the post.
I'm getting excited - I can't wait until my new WOJ City girls stamps arrive - I got up early and ordered before work this morning.

This is the first time I have used this stamp - it is a Little Miss Anya - She is coloured with copics and has been cut and matted using my nesties.

First Easel Card

It is very cold here, thought we had only a small fluttering of snow - Hopefully we will not get too much more snow.

This is my first attempt at an easel card - I used the instructions from SCS. I have made this card for my grandad who was 86 last week.

The image I used was from the Whiff of Joy Summer 2009 Kit. I am ashamed to say that it is the first time I have used him. He is coloured with copics (I see a theme), the flowers are Prima. The paper, ribbon & button are from my stash.

At picture from the side.

I really enjoyed making this easel card - I will be making more in the future.

Another Sugar Nellie

Sorry for the lack of blogging - I don't know where the time goes :).

I am pleased with how this card came out.

The image is a Sugar Nellie available from Funky Kits.
She has been coloured with Copics. I have outlined her with grey which I think makes her stand out more.

I have cut out with my oval Nestabilities and matted on to a piece of embossed card - using my swiss dots folder. I love this paper but seem to have cut off the info. The ribbon and buttons are from my stash.

Another Sugar Nellie

Back to work today. Why do holidays seem to go so quickly?
I discovered Sugar Nellie last year and my purse has been a lot lighter ever since :).

I think that this stamp is called poppies. She is coloured with Copics and the red card has been run through the cuttlebug using the swiss dots folder. The flowers are Prima and brads and charms are from stash.

Back for the New Year

Sorry I haven't been around for a while. I have been crafting but have run out of time to blog. I am trying to start the new year with more blogging.

The stamp is an Manga girl from Sugar Nellie. I won this stamp from the generous Steph last year. She has been coloured with Copics and mounted on scrap pieces of card. Embellished with brads, buttons, charms and flowers. Have you spotted the mistake - one of the buttons is blue, that is what you get for crafting at night :)

Happy New Year
